cool! You should definitely stop me next time you see me and say hi! I think the show runs for a month or so. I highly suggest checking it out--one of my friends, Morgan Booker, took home best in show. Her oil paintings are incredible. Jessica Killpack also has 3 amazing paintings in the show.

Yeah, the problem is my lack of knowledge in printmaking processes. I took one printmaking class (I would've taken a lot more if I had stayed a photo/print major). I'm still really interested in the possibilities printmaking could bring to my work, but the one class I did have I didn't really enjoy. It just didn't click... whereas darkroom work really gets me going. :P

You should look into photo-printmaking processes. Then you can produce multiples and variate between the copies. I'm thinking that photo-litho plates or Z*acryl film for copper plates to get the tonal ranges.

yay! I'm thinking of spray painting that frame a lighter color though... the black it too harsh (it was just something I had lying around from a piece I ended up selling and the frame was left over). Nevertheless, woohoo!

I'm a fan of Art Nouveau too, that's probably why I was drawn to your art at school shows. I love Art Deco as well, but mostly furniture designs and architecture. Oh what I wouldn't give to have worked on the set of The Hudsucker Proxy and/or Barton Fink.
